J-oost had a real estate agency, Makelaar J-oost, in Amsterdam and has experience as a real estate agent in the Randstad. The agents working at J-oost all have real estate experience and have also completed their real estate certification. However, they no longer work at J-oost as agents, but as advisors. The disadvantage is that J-oost no longer has any legal responsibility, because the advice is free of obligation. Als je wilt, gaan we op basis van uurtarief mee naar de notaris. Echter, een notaris is onafhankelijk en je bent in goede handen. In Amsterdam gaat de koper twee keer naar de notaris. De notaris stelt ook de koopakte op. De juridische kant van de koop is dus goed geregeld. Dit is in algemene zin. Als er specifieke zaken zijn die je vast wilt leggen betreffende de woning, dan weet de notaris deze uiteraard niet. Je dient ze dan zelf aan te geven bij de notaris. J-oost has several templates that notaries and real estate agents also use. These are all standard templates, as 95% of the templates are the same for every property. There's a standard notary contract, but also, for example, an NVM purchase agreement. These include a simple explanation of how to interpret each article. This should be sufficient. These are currently available through the 'Your Personal Coach' subscription.

Currently, in the current market, an offer with J-oost is almost always successful. Searches currently take less than a month, provided there are enough properties per week that meet the requirements.
